How to make:
- Cut the edges of the citrus fruit and divide the orange into 6-7 pieces as shown. Remember! Just cut the skin.
- Peel the orange peel from the pulp and press it against a cutting board to flatten it. Using a sharp knife, cut the orange peel into thin strips 3 mm thick. To get a crunchy texture, don't make it too thick.
- Heat 700 ml of water and 700 g of granulated sugar in a large saucepan. Gently stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

- Completely remove the softened orange peel and drain any excess liquid.
